The Rural Expo 2023 was presented

“Let's live our own lives”

Under the slogan “Let’s Celebrate What’s Ours,” the International Livestock, Agriculture, and Industry Expo, which will take place from July 20 to 30, once again serves as a meeting place for representatives of the agricultural sector, visitors, and industry professionals who, over the course of 11 days, will be able to enjoy the latest developments in the worlds of livestock, agriculture, and industry. More than 400 exhibitors, 14 provinces, and 2,000 animals will be present at this year’s event, where transactions totaling $38.000 million are estimated.

Nicolás Pino, president of the Argentine Rural Society, and Carlos Solanet, Commercial Director of La Rural, announced the details of this edition, which comes with important new features.

Political forums. As it will be an election year, precandidates will be invited to a new forum to present their campaign platforms to the agricultural sector. Additionally, another technical forum with economic leaders will be organized around three topics: beef, milk, and grains, in line with our working committees. Furthermore, significant improvements have been made to the venue's infrastructure.

Additionally, for the first time, an interfaith meeting will be held. Visitors will be able to enjoy the Gaucho Corner, the farm and dairy, among other activities.

Pino said “From July 20th to 30th, we want to invite you to enjoy the 135th Rural Expo together under the slogan “Let's Live What's Ours,” because we are convinced that coming to the exhibition is part of living who we are as a sector and as a country..”

For his part, Solanet expressed: “It’s going to be a truly impressive, powerful exhibition, supported not only by agricultural producers but also by all the exhibitors and the commercial sector, who—despite the complex circumstances—have taken a chance and demonstrated that the Rural Expo is the place not only to showcase their products but also to do business. ”Within this framework, we estimate that we will generate $38 billion in potential business.”.

Furthermore, he highlighted the work being done on sustainability at the site. “It's the first Rural Expo with our solar park in operation, the largest in the city. We are generating almost 15,000 kWh of clean energy, a great development and commitment to sustainability.”.

In 2023, the Expo is presenting its campaign “Let's Live Our Own” in which a tribute will be paid to 100 years of the Criollo Horse Breeders Association and also on the 200th anniversary of the arrival of Tarquino, the sire who consecrated Argentine Shorthorn cattle breeding.

Agribusiness Center

As every year, businesses will be one of the focal points of the exhibition. Talks, training sessions, business rounds, and other spaces will foster encounters between sellers and buyers. Banco Provincia will once again have a presence as an exhibitor, with significant credit offerings.

Digital Innovation: Virtual Rural Expo

After a resounding success, the online platform exporuralvirtual.com.ar returns this year to continue amplifying and communicating all the most relevant content about what is happening at the Palermo grounds, with segmented information for clients and visitors.

Free to access, this platform allows you to follow the exhibition's activities from anywhere in the world, tour and visit the pavilions, as well as contact and converse with exhibitors, thereby boosting commercial synergy and expanding your business network.

During the 2022 edition, over 300,000 people connected to follow the activities, from all corners of the country and the world (Brazil, Spain, Mexico, Uruguay, USA, Chile, France, China, Hungary, among others).

The proposal for the winter holidays, a classic

As every year, it is shaping up to be the chosen outing for both adults and children, because it offers important promotions for a family day out with activities such as: guided tours, fun tours at the Farm and the Demonstration Dairy; pony rides; 4x4 exhibitions; track shows; parades; as well as a wide gastronomic offer and the chance to see more than 2,000 animals of different breeds and species.

Additionally, on July 22nd, the “Open Hearts” Social Entrepreneurship Fair will be held, where over 35 foundations and NGOs will present their products for sale, services, and, fundamentally, the causes that motivate them to work for the well-being of the communities in our country.
