1866
Rural Society Foundation
With the mission of driving and promoting the development of the agricultural sector, a group of rural representatives founded the Argentine Rural Society.
1878
First Rural Exhibition at the fairgrounds
The third Rural Exhibition opens, the first held at the current fairgrounds. The countryside and the city begin to meet in this space that would become a symbol of Buenos Aires.
1910
The property is consolidated
The set of buildings, pavilions, and green spaces is configured to host the Centennial International Agriculture Exhibition.
2000
Expansion and modernization
Enhancement of historic buildings, along with a comprehensive expansion and modernization plan for the current Ocre, Azul, Verde, and Amarillo Pavilions.
Today
La Rural is evolving as a meeting place for exhibitions, fairs, congresses, conventions, and experiences, incorporating new proposals, technology, and infrastructure.
national and international presence
A decade ago, La Rural has been driving the growth of the regional MICE industry with its participation as members of the Buenos Aires Convention Center and the Punta del Este Convention and Exhibition Center.
