New edition of BATEV 2023 under the slogan “Let's build the future together”

Buenos Aires – April 25, 2023 – The Association of Housing Developers (AEV), the Argentine Chamber of Construction (CAMARCO), and Argentine Construction Exhibitions and Fairs (EFCA) are organizing the most important event in the sector, which reaches its 28th edition in 2023. This event is the key meeting point for innovation, industrialized construction, sustainability, and construction technology.

For 4 days, it will be the unmissable event for architects, engineers, builders, entrepreneurs, and the general public who want to be informed, compare, and make the best deals in a highly professional setting, as well as learn about the trends that drive the market.

The construction sector is one of the main drivers of Argentina’s economy. It stands out as one of the largest employers, generating nearly 500,000 direct formal jobs and employing around 150,000 professionals, technicians, and self-employed workers. It accounts for approximately 5 % of GDP and is one of the sectors with the broadest multiplier effect (ranging from 2 to 4 times across 150 productive sectors).

“For CAMARCO, it is a pleasure to once again be part of the BATEV experience, where different players in our industry come together to share experiences, trends, and everything related to the current and future state of construction,” said Eng. Gustavo Weiss, President of the Argentine Chamber of Construction.

“Construction groups a set of economic activities that are fundamental to society within its value chain. Due to its size, its impact on employment, and its importance to sustainability, it makes the sector one of the main pillars of the economy. In this year, which is so important for the sector and for society as a whole, BATEV23 presents itself as the unique exhibition of its kind that will allow you to learn in detail about the present and future scenario of the construction and housing market, clearly marking our commitment to the industry,” said Gabriel Pascual, President of EFCA.

Some of the categories participating in this edition are: Structures and roofing, Installations, Drywall, Rough construction, Enclosures, HVAC, Bathrooms, Kitchens, Exterior, Interior, Finishing, and Equipment, among others.

“It is a source of pride and a pleasure to participate in BATEV23 once again. We are celebrating this new edition where, in addition to seeing the latest innovations and the most novel products for construction, we will think together, debate, and explore the current state of the industry and the housing reality in our country. At the fair, we find knowledge, relationships, and plans that will allow us to realize future dreams,” said Lic. Carlos Spina, President of the Association of Housing Developers of the Argentine Republic (AEV).

BATEV's priority is to multiply its efforts to offer a show that empowers its participants, bringing together all key players in the construction, housing, and entire value chain of the sector with each new edition. The event provides a specialized environment to discover the latest products, materials, solutions, and services. Innovation, trends, technology, design, and sustainability, along with knowledge and business, are the main pillars of this meeting, in an exhibition that looks towards the future.

Additionally, BATEV will offer a wide variety of complementary activities, such as conferences, talks, debate series, and intensive workshops with renowned experts, specifically designed for visitors to train and update their knowledge, and enrich themselves with successful experiences.
