Sustainable actions by La Rural at the 138th Rural Exhibition

Waste management, recycling, and awareness are the main pillars of the environmental strategy that will accompany a new edition of the country's most important agricultural exhibition.

Within the framework of 138th International Livestock, Agriculture, and Industry Exhibition, La Rural will develop a series of Actions oriented towards promoting a responsible environmental management and strengthen the participation of exhibitors, visitors, and collaborators in environmental care.

These initiatives are part of the sustainability strategy from the company, which seeks to reduce the environmental impact of activities carried out on the property through actions of prevention, recovery of materials, circular economy y continuous improvement.

As part of this strategy, La Rural will incorporate a new scheme of waste management based on the source separation, a practice that will allow for the recovery of recyclable materials directly from the spaces where they are generated. Through a differentiated collection circuit, materials will be transported for sorting, compaction, and subsequent shipment for recycling, improving the quality of recovered resources, optimizing operational efficiency, and strengthening the circular economy.

In this context, the initiative of PET recycling developed alongside Coca-Cola FEMSA, will be present again during the Expo. Through recycling points distributed in different sectors of the venue, visitors will be able to deposit containers and other recyclable materials to facilitate their correct separation, recovery, and
valuation. This action is part of the La Rural Recicla program and aims to promote the active participation of the public in the recovery of recyclable materials during one of the country's largest events.

Likewise, in line with its commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility, La Rural will feature Electric vehicle charging stations This service accompanies the growth of electromobility in the City and facilitates access for those who choose lower environmental impact transportation alternatives.

With this new edition of the Rural Exhibition, La Rural continues to consolidate a sustainability strategy that integrates Innovation, environmental management, and circular economy, promoting the participation of all stakeholders to build increasingly responsible events.
