Alianza de triple impacto: BATEV, La Rural, Fundación Vivienda Digna y EFCA forman alianza para fomentar la economía circular mediante la reutilización de materiales feriales y donaciones

Buenos Aires, mayo de 2023 – La Rural, la Fundación Vivienda Digna y la organizadora de BATEV, EFCA, han oficializado una alianza estratégica de triple impacto en el marco de la próxima edición de la Exposición Internacional de la Construcción y la Vivienda, que se llevará a cabo del 28 de junio al 1 de julio de 2023 en el Pabellón Azul de La Rural.

La alianza focalizará sus esfuerzos conjuntos en la reutilización de materiales generados durante la feria para contribuir a la disminución de la contaminación y extender su usabilidad. Estos artículos se destinarán a los corralones sociales de Fundación Vivienda Digna, donde se pondrán a disposición de las miles de familias que son parte de su comunidad.. También, se fomentará la participación de los expositores en la donación de productos.

Además de la acción concreta de recolección, se busca realizar una trazabilidad y control de los materiales para, posteriormente, dar a conocer cada etapa del proceso y su destino final. 

Los protagonistas de la alianza

Fundación Vivienda Digna es una organización social que trabaja desde hace 44 años, en la construcción, mejoramiento y equipamiento de viviendas junto a familias de escasos recursos económicos. Más de 40.000 familias son parte de sus programas.

BATEV, la exposición líder de la construcción y la vivienda, se prepara para celebrar su edición número 28 donde la importancia de la Economía Circular en general, y para el sector en particular, será el eje central.

La Rural, el principal predio ferial del país y América Latina, ha estado trabajando en iniciativas de reciclaje y sustentabilidad durante más de una década como parte de su compromiso continuo de contribuir al desarrollo sostenible de su negocio y mejorar la calidad de vida de la sociedad en su conjunto.

La Rural is undertaking the process of measuring its 2025 Organizational Carbon Footprint, an unprecedented institutional milestone for the company that represents a key step towards increasingly professional environmental management focused on continuous improvement. 

La Rural improves its connectivity service with a new high-speed network

The ambitious project, developed in conjunction with IT company Quicklan, involved the installation of over 9 kilometers of fiber optic cable that enhances the infrastructure of the pavilions and connects the 20,000 m2 of open spaces on the grounds.
